After 10 years of enchanting people, the well-known train station cat was given the rank of chief of customer relations

Paul Newman, a sizable Bengal cat, has been visiting Merseyside Station on the Liverpool South Parkway for the past ten years.

The cat inhabits a private residence close to the station, but for some reason, he chooses to visit the station rather than prowling around in other people’s yards.

The cat first came here when it was a kitten.

Basically, he avoids the perilous rails by sitting or lying down on a seat on the platform.

The feline immediately gained local notoriety.

Several individuals are convinced that the cat meets them at the door or sees them off, and they frequently pet and scratch the cat behind the ears.

The cat was especially beloved by the staff at Merseyside Station, who recently bestowed upon him the honorary title of «Head of Customer Relations».

The cat then decides to wander the station or take a nap in a less busy area when he grows weary of the increased attention.

Paul even has a Facebook profile that the personnel of the station created, and it currently has over 3,000 followers.

The owners of the cat have grown accustomed to the fact that Paul returns home with a full belly

in addition to receiving loads of toys from other passengers and excellent food from the station employees.
