Real miracle: twins were born 88 days apart and got into the Guinness Book of Records
Maria and Chris Jones-Elliot have two children and had a happy life.
Yet, the couple’s pleasure appeared to know no bounds when they learned that they were expecting twins.
The future babies’ older sibling and sister were eagerly anticipating their birth as well.
The names Amy and Katy were chosen in beforehand by the couple. In September, the infants were expected. Plans, however, have drastically changed.
The first twin, Amy, arrived at the end of May. The girl felt more than usual, despite the fact that she was born considerably earlier than the declared date.
At the moment of her delivery, Amy weighed 500g. The second sister, who weighed 2.5 kg, was born 87 days later.
Even while the first twin had already put on weight by that point, Katy, the second sister, was still much larger.
The media became interested in these girls right away. Moreover, because to the significant disparity in their birthdates, Katy and Amy were included in the Guinness Book of Records.
The family observes a unique custom by celebrating birthdays twice a year. Amy’s birthday is observed for the first occasion, and Katy’s birthday for the second.
