14 million fans are expected to compete to obtain tickets for Oasis’ highly anticipated reunion tour, with the band’s support act officially confirmed

Blossoms have committed to accompanying Oasis on their massive upcoming reunion tour in 2019. The Gallagher brothers are scheduled to perform with the Indie band at their Manchester Heaton Park shows.

The Stockport trio, who have three No. 1 albums in the UK, opened for Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds during their special London Royal Albert Hall gig earlier this year.

As the band is also from Manchester and Noel, Liam, and Blossoms have been friends for a long time, requesting them to support Oasis was a no-brainer, an insider told The Sun.

Blossoms agreed to support Oasis for their shows at Heaton Park; naturally, they jumped at the chance. It will be confirmed in due course.

«For members Tom Ogden and Joe Donovan, it’s a full circle moment as their very first performance was at Oasis at Heaton Park.» Representatives of Blossoms and Oasis have been approached by MailOnline for comments.

The news follows the announcement that Noel and Liam will «secretly reunite in the South of France ahead of their reunion tour,» which has fans lining up to get tickets.

Liam, 51, took left for the French Riviera on Friday together with his mother Peggy, 81, fiancée Debbie Gwyther, and his rescue dog Buttons. Noel was spotted at his north London recording facilities.

Noel,57, will soon be joining them all, according to sources, and their mother is overjoyed. According to a source who spoke to The Sun, «Peggy is over the moon that her boys have finally made up after over a decade of not talking.»

She has stuck by them both and hasn’t chosen a side in their argument. It’s a dream come true that they can spend their vacation together.

Representatives of Oasis have been approached by MailOnline for comment. For the first time in fifteen years, the guitarist and his brother Liam revealed on Tuesday that they would be performing together on stage around the UK and Ireland.

The first event is scheduled to take place in Cardiff on July 4, and the couple is estimated to receive a whooping £50 million from the shows.

A representative of Oasis has been contacted by MailOnline for comment. He stated, «I’ll be all over the place on holiday,» on the Matt Morgan podcast. I’m spending a week in the South of France and then another week in Ibiza.

«After that, I’m spending a week back in London before heading to Greece for a few weeks, and after that, I might visit some friends in Los Angeles.»

It follows after Noel allegedly concluded his 15-year rivalry with brother Liam over a series of late-night phone chats, during which he ‘caved in and agreed’ to the Oasis reunion.

The turbulent relationship between the siblings reached a breaking point in 2009 when Noel left the venerable Britpop group following a brawl backstage in Paris. Liam has been eager to repair Oasis and make apologies with his brother in recent years, but his elder brother put the plan on hold.

However, Liam hinted at a possible announcement on Tuesday at 8:00am when he wrapped up his performance at the Reading Festival. A brief video of a sign like the Oasis emblem was displayed on a big screen above the performance, and it was then posted on Liam’s and Oasis’s official X and Instagram accounts.

This coincides with the outrage that fans felt on Friday, when they discovered that minutes after the first individuals in the nation were able to get permits for the UK tour next summer, resale tickets were being sold for thousands of pounds.

The first tickets went on sale for the select few who were successful in obtaining a pre-sale code on Friday at 7 p.m. On Saturday, millions are anticipated to battle it out to see the legendary trio in a general sale.

Others, however, were incensed when avaricious ticket sellers started reselling tickets at absurdly high prices right away. A group called FanFair Alliance, which is against «industrial scale» secondary ticketing, claimed to have located 80 tickets and was expected to make a whopping £200,000 in the first 20 minutes of the presale.

For the performance at London’s Wembley Stadium, some are currently being flogged for far over £6,000 apiece. Others are available for hospitality clubs and cost an astounding £10,578 for two persons.

The band has now added its disgust and lambasted the blatant money-grabbers, threatening to cancel tickets due to promoter cancellation.
«We have noticed people trying to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale,» they wrote in a post on X.

«Please be aware that tickets can only be sold through Ticketmaster and Twickets at face value.» «The promoters reserve the right to cancel tickets that are sold in violation of the terms and conditions.»

«This is money being siphoned off from the UK economy, siphoned off from fans, and sloshed through the bank accounts of foreign websites.»

The only entity that can control this type of consumer exploitation is the government. Prohibiting the profit-driven resale of tickets is the sole resolution.

It also seems that phony passes are being sold via sham accounts for up to £800. While some tickets on Viagogo seem to be up for thousands of pounds, others on Stubhub are selling for more than £6,300.

In addition to five concerts at Manchester’s Heaton Park, three at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield, two at Dublin’s Croke Park, and two at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Oasis will perform for five nights in the national stadium.
