A woman does not leave the house because her pet toucan is very afraid of separation
A young, ailing toucan was brought home by Janelle Tsao in order to save it.
Touki, the bird’s name, proved to be a rather erratic creature.
When no one is around and an exotic bird is left alone, it suffers.
Janelle begs her friend to watch the bird whenever she needs to leave the house as a result.
More than two years have passed since the woman last took a holiday.
If Touki is left alone, he begins to scream aloud until someone returns to sit close to him.
«Touki is a child who can fly. He can rise anyplace because he is charming and jovial and always shows a keen interest in everything.
He shouldn’t eat tomatoes, so I cut them up and put them in a bowl with a secure top yesterday. Before I could get up, Touki flew to the table, rapidly raised the lid, and snatched the tomato. He then flew up to the second story and immediately gobbled it, Janelle recounted.
It takes a lot of time, effort, and money to take care of a toucan.
For instance, his diet is pricey because it solely includes fresh fruits, vegetables, and berries.
Additionally, he uses the restroom whenever he wants and every 10 minutes.
«When I first saw him, I felt my heart melt. He was caged and so silent and reserved. It’s as a result of his wounds. I promised right away that I would try my best to adore him and look after him,» Janelle recalled.
But Touki is already too accustomed to people; such an exotic bird cannot be maintained at home. He won’t be able to securely return to the wild because of this.
