After hinting at a potential plan to resume her music career, Simpson departs on a mysterious journey
Jessica Simpson had legs for days on Instagram this Wednesday, where she was pictured hopping into a U-Haul for a mystery trip.
The 43-year-old songstress modeled a boyfriend fit t-shirt and swanned about on a towering pair of platform stilettos.
Wearing her curtains of platinum hair down, Jessica popped on a massive pair of sunglasses and sharpened her unmistakable features with makeup.
‘Everyone says I always overpack… #roadtrippin’,’ she captioned the Instagram post without divulging where she was going.
Her latest post comes after she teased a potential move to Nashville, Tennessee, where she is toying with the idea of re-jump-starting her music career.
Jessica has now produced a new studio album in over a decade — not since the release of her 2010 record Happy Christmas.
In the intervening years she has devoted herself to a string of other professional ventures, including a jewelry line with Walmart and a bestselling memoir.
She has also built a flourishing family life, marrying ex-NFL heartthrob Eric Johnson and welcoming three children with him.
Now in a new Bustle profile, she revealed that she is mulling the prospect of getting back into music — and might even relocate to Nashville in order to do so.
In the month leading up to her new interview she made three trips to the country music capital, percolating her ideas about her career path.
‘I’m doing this as a mother now, as a wife. I was a wife last time, but this is a very different marriage,’ the blonde bombshell noted.
Her first husband was her fellow singer Nick Lachey. Their marriage went up in flames in 2005 after just three years.
Jessica also pointed out that her children Maxi, 11, Ace, 10, and Birdie, four, have ‘never seen’ their mother perform live.
