After losing a cat, the girl began to help animals and discovered him while working at an animal shelter
Hannah Rountree, then 15 years old, lost her cherished cat three years ago.
As the entire family was abroad, Spunky, a black and white pet, went away.
They traveled all throughout the district in search of him for more than a day without success.
Hannah was just 12 years old when Spunky vanished, but he lived on in her heart forever. Hannah then made the decision to spend all of her leisure time working with animals.
Hannah volunteered at a neighborhood shelter once she was old enough.
Hannah was hoping to play with the adorable kittens during her second shift at the Saving Grace Animal Adoption Center.
She didn’t anticipate running across her long-lost pet. She discovered Spunky.
A strange black and white cat that was sitting in a cage off to the side caught the girl’s eye right away.
She simply couldn’t believe what she was seeing, but it was undoubtedly him.

The cat had only recently been brought to a shelter; he was still getting used to the surroundings and had not yet started looking for a new home.
However, it appears that this was no longer required. A new, or perhaps an ancient, dwelling was discovered.
Hannah’s narrative appeared so unbelievable to the shelter employees that they were astounded as well.
As they looked into how Spunky got to the shelter, they discovered that it was indeed the same cat who had vanished three years before.
Spunky was initially brought to the shelter in the fall, according to the staff. He was found on the street, bathed, and then sent from the shelter to good hands.
He was given the name Bear, and he lived for six months under that moniker.
He did not, however, spend much time at the new home because the owners were seeking for a mouser and Spunky was too amiable and lethargic for the job,
so he was taken back to the animal shelter. This failure ended up becoming Spunky’s greatest triumph.
Hannah was overcome by gratitude for their fortunate encounter and overjoyed to have Spunky back in her arms.
Spunky was greeted by Hannah and her family as a long-lost relative. He currently exudes love and acts as if he never left.
