Before her VMA performance, Katy Perry walks out in New York City with Orlando Bloom, dressing comfortably in a black sweatsuit
Days before her appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards and her Video Vanguard award, Katy Perry was photographed out and about in New York City this past weekend with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom.
The pop music sensation, 39, looked sultry in a black sweatsuit with white underwear peeking out from the low-slung, flared leggings.
She wore large black sunglasses and styled her jet black hair into an uneven low bun at the back of her head. She carried an iced coffee and had a full face of makeup on underneath the stylish and sporty accessory.
The 47-year-old Australian actor was attired in light wash trousers, white sneakers, and a white T-shirt.Daisy Dove Bloom, the couple’s four-year-old daughter, was accompanied by her parents, and she was wearing a bubblegum pink outfit.
Mid-August saw the announcement that Perry would receive MTV’s Vanguard award in 2024. «Katy is a true pop culture icon and a musical powerhouse,» stated Bruce Gillmer, Paramount+’s Chief Content Officer of Music.

With her lack of reaction to the outcry over her collaboration with the music producer, who was involved in a ten-year legal dispute with Kesha regarding allegations of sexual assault, fans accused her of «gaslighting» them.
Łukasz Sebastian Gottwald, also known as Dr. Luke, was accused of sexual and physical abuse by the Tik Tok composer. He later sued Kesha for defamation in 2014, but before the case could go to trial, a settlement was made in June 2023.
