Britney Spears shared a rare photo of her brother, who she says is like a father and best friend
Britney Spears has shared a rare snap of her brother Bryan as she told fans he is «like a dad» to her.
It’s common knowledge that the pop princess has had a rocky relationship with her father Jamie, amid the well-documented 13-year conservatorship that finally came to an end in 2021.
But she suggested that her big bro had stepped up as she posted a photo of him on Instagram.
The image showed Bryan — who at 46 is five years older than Britney — clad in a hat and green overalls. «My big brother who’s like a dad and my best friend!!» she wrote.
«Not sure what’s going on with this outfit though!!!» she added with some laughing emojis.
Britney revealed in her recent memoir The Woman In Me that she and Bryan were close, although she has had fall outs with other family members including mum Lynne and sister Jamie Lynn,
who was a contestant on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! until quitting this week «on medical grounds».
The Zoey 101 star, 32, managed several days in the Aussie jungle alongside campers including Josie Gibson, Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori, but was emotional throughout.
She was often tearful and said how much she missed her children.
Jamie Lynn did address Toxic singer Britney and their relationship during her camp stint, sharing that she loved her elder sister but that they had locked horns in the past. «Me and her throw down,» she said. «The world’s seen that.
«I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what, families fight.» Listen, we just do it better than most,» added the star.
