Cat about to be eսthanized asks stranger to save him
Lahmia Mareeal Marano found a picture of a 16-year-old cat named Max in a letter she received from a friend who works at a veterinary clinic.
He would have to be put to sleep otherwise, so a friend begged the girl to assist in finding an elderly fluffy home.
Lahmia visited the clinic to witness Max in action. He then clutched to her tightly, almost pleading, «Take me home.»
And the girl’s heart began to shake. She didn’t intend to get another cat, but she ended up adopting Max.
The old cat was reclusive and grumpy within the clinic. But when he was around his new mother, he started acting quite differently.
The cat became more friendly and playful after calming down.
«Max instantly made himself at home and discovered his favorite spot in the house: the sink. He enjoys chit-chatting, and we occasionally have in-depth discussions.
He follows me everywhere and keeps watch while I take a shower, so I think he knows it’s safe around me, Lahmia added.
The girl is happy that this happened even though she had no idea that her response to her friend’s message would result in the adoption of a 16-year-old cat.
The girl added, «Max is a great gem, and I think that he was brought to me by higher forces.
