Christina Hall is very happy
Despite becoming one of HGTV’s biggest stars, Christina Hall still aspires to be a mother.
While promoting the upcoming season of Christina on the Coast on Tuesday, July 2, Hall, 40, gave an exclusive interview to Us Weekly. «My relationship with [my daughter] Taylor’s very, very strong.»
The reality actress disclosed that her greatest recent «mom win» has been «communicating with Taylor,» who is currently in middle school.
Taylor, 13, and her son Brayden, 8, are shared by the reality star and her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa. Hall and her ex-husband Ant Anstead also have a 4-year-old kid named Hudson.
«At this age, there are friend dynamics and little dramas,» Hall clarified, adding that her bond with Taylor was further highlighted by the Mother’s Day card her daughter wrote her earlier this year.
«It was really lovely and very special, and it just made me feel so good about being her mom and parenting in general,» the woman exclaimed.
Christina, who married Joshua Hall in 2022, said to Us that Taylor’s pals are frequently included in their mother-daughter time.
«I adore simply having the children visit our home.» Every weekend or every other weekend, they host a lot of sleepovers here, the woman stated.
«We have about six girls staying over. They all sleep in the same room, use the jacuzzi together, and ride their e-bikes around.»
Christina described their hangouts as «super cute,» but she went on to say that she is proud of more than just their mother-daughter bond as a mother.
Brayden, according to the Christina in the Country actress, has grown to be her «little clown full of energy» and «very funny.» Meanwhile, Hudson keeps everyone «on our toes» and is «so smart and silly.»
She disclosed that her children «all get along so well and love each other» in spite of their age gaps. She interacts with every child with the same warmth.
Christina clarified that her children’s «small actions,» such as «wanting to spend time with» her at home, are what truly make her feel loved.
She went added, «I feel like it makes me proud how often the kids just come up and hug me.» Additionally, the guys also simply say «I love you» all the time.
Christina acknowledged that her biggest parenting problem is «dividing time,» even though she is thrilled to be a working mother.
She is collaborating with Josh, 43, and his ex-husband Tarek, 42, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, for the upcoming series The Flip Off.
She said, «I believe that quality one-on-one time is my kids’ love language.» Simply said, you need to make sure that you take the time to ask them three simple questions:
«Hey, this summer, let’s each pick three things we wanna do.» then take them on unique, separate dates. and ensuring that I follow through on those actions with them.
In addition to spending quality time alone with her boys and organizing sleepovers for middle school students, Christina is thrilled to introduce her fans to a brand-new season of Christina on the Coast this month.
«I was really hoping for major assignments. Five seasons later, the designer told Us, «We expanded to add more time and more house details. When the show first started, it was only 30 minutes, so we only had time to do, like, two spaces.»
Watchers will witness Christina work on «long remodels,» some of which took a year, and renovate «entire homes down to the studs» this season. Christina continued, «I think fans are really going to like just seeing an entire project come together.»
