When she was 12 years old, Chloe Thomas from Louisiana first noticed that she was beginning to lose her hair.
The grandma rushed to soothe her granddaughter and blamed her love of unusual haircuts and stress for everything.
The girl’s hair began to fall out more and more each year, but she kept her condition a secret out of embarrassment.
Chloe made the decision to visit a doctor as a result, who diagnosed her with alopecia. Treatment was prescribed by the doctor, but it had no discernible impact.
The loss of hair persisted at an alarming rate. Thomas attempted to use a wig to conceal her balding head. But it was revealed to her peers.
After that, the girl stopped wearing wigs and started working with experts who lengthened her hair. Because Chloe had to purchase pricey cosmetics to make her hair look healthy and silky, this technique was not the most affordable.
Chloe panicked when she discovered a new hair tuft on her pillow the next morning in September 2020. She grabbed a razor and removed every hair.
