In a recently discovered clip, Amanda Holden declares that she will never reconcile with Phillip
A clip of Amanda Holden being grilled on her feud with Phillip Schofield has been unearthed in the wake of his This Morning scandal.
Veteran TV presenter Schofield, 61, resigned from ITV on Friday and was dropped by his talent agency YMU after admitting to an ‘unwise,
but not illegal’ affair with a young male colleague on the show.
Amanda, 52, has not shied away from making her feelings known about the presenter over the years.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge previously said she believes that in 2018, Phillip sabotaged her chances of filling in on This Morning while Holly Willoughby hosted I’m A Celeb.
Rochelle Humes landed the presenting job while Phillip’s regular co-host Holly took over Ant McPartlin’s hosting duties for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
In a resurfaced video, Amanda was questioned about her feud with Phil by her Heart Radio co-star Jamie Theakston.
As he tried to approach the subject, Amanda told him: ‘I’ve moved on from it, Jamie, you need to move on from it.’
Pressing further, he quizzed: ‘You might have moved on but I just wanted to know, is there any more to the story?’
Amanda told Jamie she had tried to reach out to Phil, but her attempts to arrange a meet up to clear the air were ignored.
She said: ‘I did offer to meet him for a coffee months ago, he didn’t reply to my text. What can I say?’
‘The olive branch had been extended?’, Jamie asked.
In reference to Taylor Swift and Katy Perry amending their friendship after a public falling out by dressing as burger and fries in her music video You Need To Calm Down,
Jamie asked if Amanda if she and Phil would have a ‘burger and fries’ moment.
Amanda said: ‘I doubt it. I’m a vegetarian Jamie.’
