To celebrate turning 66, Madonna has threw a number of festivities across the globe. On Friday, the Queen of Pop celebrated turning sixty years old. There were numerous events held throughout Italy to commemorate the occasion.

The Celebration hitmaker displayed her hairstyle, letting her thick blonde tresses fall down while striking a seductive pose in the garment that resembled a bridal dress. She wore minimal makeup, but added a dramatic touch with a swipe of pink lipstick.

The Material Girl singer reportedly wanted to spend more time with her family after having to postpone her Celebration Tour due to a nasty bacterial infection last year, according to insiders. «Madonna is living her life to the fullest and has spent a fortune on this birthday bash to celebrate with her nearest and dearest,» a source told The Sun.

«She wants to embrace every minute after having a major scare when she fell ill last summer before her Celebration Tour.» This celebration and vacation are about her thanking all of her loved ones for their support and bringing them together, as much as it is about her.
