The remainder of Justin Bieber’s Justice World Tour, which was delayed in September 2022 as a result of the singer’s struggle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome,
will not be completed. Fans’ expectations of seeing Justin, 28,
perform live soon were dashed when they learned via email on Tuesday, February 28, that the 70 remaining performances on the tour had been cancelled.
The information was verified by the «Justice Tour Updates» Twitter account. Fans should be able to contact their point of purchase to request a complete refund for their tickets.
Beginning on February 18, 2022, Justin’s Justice tour was scheduled to last through March 20, 2023.
The «Peaches» singer, however, declared that he was canceling the remaining dates of the tour after his performance in Rio de Janeiro on September 4, 2022.
«Early this year, I went public with my fight with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was largely paralyzed,» said Justin in a message posted to his Instagram Story.
I was unable to finish the Justice tour’s North American leg as a result of my illness.
After taking some time to recover and talking to my physicians, family, and team, Justin said, «I travelled to Europe in an effort to complete the tour.
I put on six live performances, but it was quite taxing on me. I gave everything I had to the Brazilian people this past weekend when I played at Rock in Rio.
I was so worn out when I left the stage that I immediately understood the need of prioritizing my health at this time. So for the time being, I’m going to stop touring.
I’ll be alright, but I need some time to relax and recover. I’ve been so honored to share our show and our message of justice with the world, he continued.
In June 2022, Justin made his Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome diagnosis public.
The illness, a side effect of shingles, damaged the nerve in his right ear, resulting in facial paralysis. Justin’s career has been hampered by his battles with mental health.
