The 38-year-old singer revealed to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics that she and her longtime lover, IT investor and entrepreneur Michael Polansky, were getting married.
Gaga can be heard referring to Polansky as «my fiancé» in a TikTok that Attal shared on Sunday, July 28, while the three of them watched a swimming competition.
When Gaga and Polansky were seen holding hands at a New Year’s Eve celebration in Las Vegas in 2020, the two became romantically associated.
They revealed their romance to the world just a few weeks later during the course of a PDA-filled Super Bowl 2020 weekend in Miami.
Gaga posted a picture of the couple cuddling up on a yacht to Instagram at the time, captioning it, «We had so much fun in Miami.»
Later, a person close to the 13-time Grammy Award winner told PEOPLE that the couple spent the early stages of the COVID-19 outbreak in quarantine together. They camped over at Gaga’s house and became close, according to the informant.
Polansky stood by Gaga’s side as she accepted an invitation to play at President Joe Biden’s inauguration in Washington, D.C. in January 2021. At the time, a source said she was «grateful» for Polansky’s support and «happy» with him.
Additionally, according to the insider, Gaga presented him to attendees backstage as «my boyfriend.»
