Lopez had a grown-up kiss with her lover in the city center when she went out for New Year’s shopping
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were the picture of newlywed bliss as they got in some last-minute Christmas shopping in upscale Brentwood on Monday.
The couple — who tied the knot over the summer — strolled from store to store with the 53-year-old singer’s son, Max, 14, by their side.
Lopez and Affleck, 50, were captured sharing a passionate kiss in the shopping center’s parking lot after splurging on gifts for their friends and family.
The outing was a casual one for the pair, with Affleck walking sweetly with one arm wrapped around Max while he held hands with his longtime love.
He briefly stepped away to take a cigarette break.
Lopez looked effortlessly stylish in a muted green coat layered over a plain white tee that she tucked into a pair of wide-legged trousers.
The Selena actress carried her belongings in a green leather Coach purse that appeared in the fall 2022 campaign she appeared in for the ready-to-wear brand.
Her honey-toned tresses were swept up in a messy bun and she kept her makeup light and natural.
Lopez shielded her eyes with gold-framed sunglasses that had a retro brown-tint.
She appeared in a jovial mood during the family outing, though she enjoyed some time to herself as she browsed a high-end clothing store solo.
Meanwhile, Affleck and Max picked up some large soda drinks from a nearby food stand for them to sip on.
The Argo actor cut a casual-cool figure as he styled dark denim jeans with stark white Nike sneakers with a gold swoosh.
He completed the look with a black T-shirt and a marled gray blazer to stave off the chilly breeze that swept over the affluent LA neighborhood.
Max — who has a twin sibling Emme that did not join the trio on their shopping trip — looked cozy in a color-blocked hoodie, gray sweatpants and colorful sneakers.
Lopez shares Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 54. The two were married from 2004 to 2014. He is now currently engaged to 23-year-old model Nadia Ferreira.
This holiday season marks Lopez and Affleck’s first since they tied the knot during a shotgun wedding at a Las Vegas chapel in July.
The following month, the pair held a lavish ceremony at Affleck’s sprawling estate in Atlanta, Georgia in front a hoard of A-list guests.
Affleck proposed to the Hustlers star in April after rekindling their romance in May 2021 following Lopez’s split from MLB star Alex Rodriguez, 47.
The pair were previously engaged back in 2003 after co-starring in the box office flop Gigli, which was released in 2002.
Affleck and Lopez — often referred to in the media as ‘Bennifer’ — were one of Hollywood’s hottest couples in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, the duo called off their engagement in 2004 and went on to marry different people.
While Lopez married Latin singer Marc Anthony, Affleck moved on with 13 Going On 30 actress Jennifer Garner, 50. Affleck and Garner share three children: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.
The former couple split in 2016 though their divorce was not finalized until 2018. They now amicably co-parent their kids.
