Madonna has a confidence crisis, but she continues to push the envelope in her fight against ageism

Madonna has a confidence crisis, but she continues to push the envelope in her fight against ageism.

Madonna, 64, is still making waves in the entertainment industry, proving that age is not a barrier for women. And, despite the recent controversy surrounding her Grammy outfit, as well as a rumored personal crisis, Madonna continues to demonstrate that she is still a force to be reckoned with.

According to a source, Madonna is currently experiencing a «confidence crisis.»

According to reports, Madonna and her 23-year-old boyfriend Andrew Darnell recently ended their relationship. «It was only a casual thing [with Darnell], so she’s not broken-hearted.

It’s just that it came at a bad time,» said the unnamed source. «She’s going through a bit of a confidence crisis, and this isn’t helping.»

Despite these obstacles, the Queen of Pop remains committed to constantly reinventing herself and is hard at work on her 40th-anniversary tour. «She’s throwing herself into the tour and is determined that it will not only be brilliant, but will also thrust her back into the spotlight,» the source added.

«They will never be able to break me.»
She’s been through a lot, with the most recent setback being the negative feedback she received following her appearance at the Grammys.

But leave it to Madonna to respond in the most Madonna way possible, sending a strong message of defiance to her detractors.
«The world is threatened by my power and my stamina, my intelligence and my will to survive.

But they will never be able to break me. «This is all a test,» she wrote in a tweet.

When she gave a rousing speech at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards about going against the grain and how being controversial could mean that an artist is «on to something,» internet trolls focused on her face instead. So she responded to them with an Instagram post.

«Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim, many people chose to only talk about close-up photos of me taken with a long lens,» she added.

Madonna also slammed the press, claiming that the photographer has the ability to distort anyone’s face.

Interestingly, Madonna foresaw the relentless ageism she would face when she was only 34 years old.
In a previous interview, she stated that we live in a society where people are not allowed to be adventurous after a certain age.

«I mean, a lot of people have said, ‘Oh, that’s so pathetic; I hope she’s not doing that in ten years.’

» What does it matter? What if I’m right? «Does there have to be a rule?» — Madonna, who is much younger but equally feisty, said. «Life is short. I don’t understand how people can live to be a hundred years old.»

Years later, her fight against ageism is still ongoing, and the Queen of Pop is unapologetic about living her authentic life.
