Paramore are forced to halt their performance during Taylor Swift’s third Wembley

When Paramore noticed a fan in the crowd who needed medical assistance, they were compelled to end their performance during Taylor Swift’s third Wembley Stadium appearance on Saturday.

The band, who are opening for the singer on the European leg of her Eras Tour, momentarily halted their hit song to attend to a fan.

«We’ve got to stop,» Hayley Williams told her bandmates a few lines into Only Exception after noticing a fan in need of medical treatment. She then asked other people in the audience, «Are you guys all right?» As soon as security arrived to assist the fan, the sold-out stadium became silent. Hayley apologized to the audience and stated, «Let’s just make sure they’re okay before we start again.»

Hayley then tried to lighten the situation with a joke, saying, «Wow, Wembley, it seems really quiet in here now,» but the entire stadium fell silent. It happens after Swiftie supporters were stranded outside the stadium as the singer began her performance on Thursday, leaving them incensed for the first few minutes of her Wembley performance.

The 34-year-old hitmaker of Cruel Summer is currently returning to London for five more performances; yet, a few ecstatic fans missed the start of her maiden performance in the city. While they waited to receive their wrist bands, some fans missed the first few songs from the Lover era, according to MailOnline.

When security ran out of wristbands and swifties were denied access to the stadium due to a maintenance issue, they became enraged.

In order to avoid missing the first number of the event, which featured the artist singing Cruel Summer, The Man and Miss Americana, and the Heartbreak Prince, fans begged to be admitted more quickly.

«It was chaos they wouldn’t let anyone in without a wristband,» a concertgoer exclaimed. Every time they brought some up, they would run out and you would have to wait a long time for more.

It comes after Raye and Suki Waterhouse were among the five new opening acts that Taylor, 34, revealed on Instagram earlier this month for the dates at Wembley Stadium.

At the Wembley performances, a variety of female talent will accompany the band, which is led by Hayley and has been touring Europe with Taylor. The other performers—aside from Paramore, who will play at every show—will each have a single night of performance.

British performer Holly Humberstone took the stage on August 16; the next night, actress and singer Suki Waterhouse did the same. On August 19, Maisie Peters will perform; on August 20, multi-BRIT Award–winning singer RAYE will serve as Taylor’s support act.

‘Just wanted to tell you about something coming up that I’ve been so excited about: we’re adding 5 incredible acts to our 5 Wembley performances, going on just before Paramore!!’ Taylor wrote on her Story about the news.

I asked them to be a part of this tour because I adore their sound and I know they’ll have an incredible performance at Wembley Stadium! In case you haven’t already, go listen to their songs! gonna have a great five nights!

With these August events, Taylor will conclude her UK tour and have performed eight nights overall at Wembley Stadium, the most nights she has ever played in any city during her historic tour.

The singer will take a vacation following these gigs before the tour resumes in Canada in November. After that, she will travel across the Atlantic for the remaining dates of her trip till the Eras trip comes to an end in December 2024.
