Phoebe Gates Shares Adorable Images from Date Night at The Albies with Her Boyfriend Arthur Donald
Together with Phoebe’s mother, Melinda French Gates, the couple attended the function, which was hosted by George and Amal Clooney.
Taking a BTS look into a night out with beau Arthur Donald, Phoebe Gates is sharing.
On Friday, Sept. 27, the daughter of Bill and Melinda French Gates posted a photo of herself and her 25-year-old grandson Donald from The Albies the previous evening on Instagram. Donald is one of Paul McCartney’s grandkids.
Phoebe, 22, was spotted smiling outside in one photo wearing a brown gown with a mock cowl neckline and matching golden pointed-toe heels.
She tilted her head to the side to reveal her diamond cluster earrings and two bracelets with diamonds on her left arm, which she recognized as being from Cartier.
In a another photo, Phoebe was seen clutching Donald’s hand while he was wearing a leather-banded silver watch that Phoebe had also identified as a Cartier item.
The Stanford University alumnus then posted a photo of the two standing next to one other while they posed for pictures. As Phoebe placed her palm on his tuxedo jacket, Donald, who was dressed in a sleek black tuxedo and black bowtie, was visible with a hand on her waist.
Phoebe included a picture of her dress’ back to finish out the post. «It was an honor to attend the third annual Albie Awards last night, presented by the George and Amal Clooney Foundation for Justice,» she wrote as the description for the photo.
«Thank you to Amal and George Clooney for your tireless efforts to advance justice,» she said, adding, «and thank you, @cartier, for including me among your visionary leadership and inspiring guests.»
Date speculations about Phoebe and Donald first surfaced in October 2023, following Phoebe’s Instagram post of the two of them grinning. She wrote, «Paris on film,» as the post’s caption.
Then, in January 2024, the two appeared together at the Museum of Modern Art’s Feud: Capote vs. The Swans opening in New York City.
Phoebe is getting ready to launch Phia, a new digital and fashion startup, and has been utilizing her platform to campaign for women’s rights.
She received the Rising Reproductive Freedom Champion award last week in Washington, D.C. during the Reproductive Freedom for All 55th anniversary celebration.
