Photographer captures a beautiful moment when giant jellyfish swims under kayak

An underwater photographer took a picture of a large jellyfish under a kayak.

The picture was taken by Lewis Jeffreys, photographer and filmmaker.

It shows Sammy, Lewis’s partner, kayaking over a compass jellyfish with sunlight shining from behind it.

“Jellyfish are fantastic subjects to photograph, and they are fairly handy because they don’t move very rapidly,” added Lewis, 33, “once you’ve found one, you may play around with a variety of angles.”

“I’ve been thinking about a similar shot for a while, with my kayak partner above the waterline and some marine life below for a while”.

“The weather was perfect, and there was a beautiful sunset — all of which provided me with the materials I needed to create something unique.”

“Sammy should be given credit for being in the right place at the right time.”

This amazing shot, titled “Peaceful Coexistence”, gave Lewis first place in the national competition of underwater photographers 2022.

“Our marine life is so rich” he added, “and I truly hope this photograph will encourage people to appreciate and enjoy the treasures we have right on our doorstep.”

Sammy deserves praise for being in the ideal location at the ideal time.

Lewis won first prize in the national underwater photography competition in 2022 with this breathtaking photograph, «Peaceful Coexistence.»

He continued, «Our marine life is so diverse, and I sincerely hope this picture will inspire people to value and savor the treasures we have right outside our door.»
