On March 3, Miley Cyrus previewed her upcoming «Backyard Sessions» special, a celebration of her eagerly awaited eighth album, with a stunning Instagram image.
Miley looked every bit the pop star in the video as she rocked out in a sleek, black catsuit on stage and near a gorgeous pool overlooking the ocean,
as Disney+ welcomed fans to «enjoy the first performance of her new album» in the ad. Miley was simply being herself.
Miley whetted fans’ appetites with a topless selfie hours prior to the teaser post in order to promote her chart-topping smash «Flowers,»
the lead single from her upcoming studio album Endless Summer Vacation, which will be released on March 10. On that day, the Disney+ special would also make its premiere.
Speaking of «Flowers,» the Hollywood crowd has really taken to the tune! Teddi Mellencamp,
a former member of «The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,» replicated the «Flowers» music video while exercising in a black-and-white bikini.
Diane Keaton, a legendary actress, performed a dance to the song in her own backyard while praising Miley Cyrus.
Not to mention that the song is allegedly about Miley’s own matinee dol ex, Liam Hemsworth.
While they’ve referred to the song as a breakup hymn and pointed out online that it was published a day before her ex-birthday,
husband’s fans have undoubtedly floated the hypothesis that the song is about Miley and Liam, who terminated their short marriage in 2019.
Fans with keen eyes have noted that the song seems to be an answer to Bruno Mars’ 2013 hit «When I Was Your Guy.»
She decided to release and dedicate her new single to her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth on his birthday (January 13) and wish him a happy birthday, according to a Twitter fan.
When the Backyard Sessions special debuts on March 10, audiences will be able to watch Miley perform the song, whether it is about Liam or another love of hers. Disney+ has it available.
