Salma Hayek shows off her curves in a glamorous white rасy dress with an elegant train at the premiere
Salma Hayek was a vision at the premiere of El Sabor de la Navidad at the Toronto International Film Festival on Wednesday.
The actress, who recently turned 57, poured her curves into a fitted white gown that draped around her waist and ended in an elegant train.
She accessorized with a textured jade green and white clutch along with some jewelry and a hot red lip.
Salma went for a sleek look when it came to her hair, and rocked a head full of ultra straight tresses with a chic center part.
She opted for a smoky eye and a touch of radiant blush.
Salma’s appearance at TIFF occurred amidst a historic double strike in Hollywood, with both the Writer’s Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA unions embroiled in protests against the studios.
Salma, who does not appear in the film but serves as producer, wore a SAG-AFTRA shirt at the film festival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She informed the outlet she had received permission from the union to appear at TIFF for the film.
The Christmas film follows a Mexican family celebrating the holiday in the country’s capital.
‘Misunderstandings in families have to do with generational differences,’ she told THR.
‘It’s not only Spanish (language), but a Mexican film. And so we’re very grateful that we were able to bring it to Toronto and that the union was supportive of it, otherwise I would not have come, without permission.’
The film contains three storylines, and one of them involves the family’s estranged daughter returning home with the hopes of repairing her relationship with her relatives.
Speaking of the plotline, she recently told Variety: ‘Sometimes when it’s a family member, you have to accept first, and then understand.
But it’s important to go towards that second step, so you’re not tolerating a loved one, but totally loving someone.’
The film’s writer Jose Tamez added: ‘I was trying to present three stories about love.
