Simpson opposes public attention to her weight: it’s not necessarily a conversation
Jessica Simpson wants the public scrutiny over her body to stop.
When asked about dealing with criticism of her size over the years, the 43-year-old actress admitted the fascination around her weight is still mind-boggling.

‘I think it just doesn’t need to be a conversation,’ she told Access Hollywood.
Despite feeling frustrated, at times, by the comments, the Open Book author pointed out the benefit of being woman that has been ‘every size’ while designing for her clothing brand.
‘Honestly for the Jessica Simpson collection it’s been a beautiful thing,’ she said. ‘I do understand every body

and every woman and their mentality and how deserving they are of fashion and style, and it’s just such a natural thing for me.’
As she raises three children, alongside husband Eric Johnson, the I Wanna Love You Forever singer explained that she reminds her kids not to ‘dress for anyone else.’

She advises her little ones not to ‘you don’t try to look like anybody else’ or be ‘any other size.’
While speaking about her eldest, Maxwell ‘Maxi’ Drew, 11, Simpson recalled her preteen asking if she should be ‘insecure’ about being the ‘tallest in her grade.’

She recalls telling her little girl: ‘The fact you’re asking me if you should be insecure means absolutely not!’
Additionally, the mother-of-three revealed that she tries not to ‘diet’ or complain about her body in front of them.
‘They just see me living a a healthy lifestyle,’ she explained, noting she also ‘quit drinking’ to ensure that she was a ‘good role model.’
