Meet Kara Brookins, a stunning woman. Her life has recently been consumed by fear, hopelessness, and uncertainty.
Kara’s life has been put to the test by two divorces and two dishonest spouses.
Four kids were left with her on her own. The woman made the decision to drastically alter her life at that point.
Kara once witnessed a tornado strike an apartment complex. As a result, all that was left of the structure was its foundation.
Kara developed the idea to construct a frame house after seeing this. After all, you can construct such a building on your own with ease.
Her children were ages 2, 11, 15, and 17 at the time.
She needed to obtain a loan from a bank in the amount of $150,000 to carry out the intended project.
The entire family started work on constructing a sizable house with the help of construction supplies and YouTube videos.
They gained knowledge of how to install bricks, plasterboard walls, and pour concrete, but most significantly they learnt how to collaborate well.
Kara believes that since they built a house, her kids are no longer terrified of any challenges, thus she is no longer concerned about them.
«Building a house without any experience was incredibly naive, but sometimes courage is hidden behind naivety,» Kara acknowledges.
The home measured a whopping 1066 square meters! It includes 5 bedrooms, a sizable garage for 3 cars, a workshop, and a roomy living area. It also contains everything you could possibly want.
