Taylor Swift gives a thumbs up after a fan asked if she was okay during a post-breakup concert
One fan who attended Taylor Swift’s performance in Tampa, Florida on April 15 brought a sign with just one question written on it: «You OK?»
During one segment of the event, the fan, who was sitting close to the stage, held the paper up for Taylor to see. Taylor made sure to give the sign a thumbs up when she saw it,
reassuring supporters that they shouldn’t be concerned about her mental health despite the fact that she recently ended her more than six-year engagement with Joe Alwyn.
The surprising split between Taylor and Joe was announced on April 8 with the help of Entertainment Tonight. According to the website, the breakup was «amicable» and «not dramatic.»
Although it’s unclear exactly when Taylor and Joe broke up, it was rumored that it happened before Taylor started her Eras Tour in the middle of March.
Taylor had just five months earlier released her album Midnights, which contained a number of tracks that were devoted to Joe.
At the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, she also spent time with the actor in New Orleans while he was there filming a new project.
It’s interesting to note that when Taylor learned about the «You OK?» sign at her concert,
she was midway through singing «Delicate,» a song from 2017 that was also motivated by her relationship with Joe.
She wrote several songs about the relationship throughout the course of their six-year relationship, and several of them are included in the Eras Tour set list.
Taylor frequently sang about having a forever future with Joe, but according to PEOPLE, the 33-year-old was the one to call it quits on the relationship.
