Teenage girl rescues her beloved puppy from flooding in Kentucky by jumping in the water with her
Unprecedented floods in eastern Kentucky caused hundreds of people to lose their homes and hundreds more to go missing.
Almost every family was affected by the calamity!

The weather once again demonstrated how important dogs have always been to our households.
During the storm, Chloe Adams, 17, was at her grandfather’s house with her dog Sandy, and she was able to move immediately to save Sandy’s life.

Terry Adams, the father of the girls, claims that Chloe and Sandy didn’t see their grandfather, who took cover on his home’s roof.
The child placed the poor dog in a plastic bucket to keep her from drowning, and then made the perilous swim to her neighbor’s roof, which was above the floodwaters.

In the dark, the courageous girl had to swim against the current!
So, in the middle of a city that was under water, the dog and the child ended up on a neighbor’s roof. The teen was saved a few hours later by her paddling granddad Larry Adams.
Later, he revealed that his courageous and smart granddaughter had to swim 64 meters at night in a strong river to reach the roof.

«I have never been so grateful for becoming a kayaker as in these last few days,» he remarked on social media. Chloe waited for several hours before she could swim up to her (hazardous owing to the tide). She is a champion.
On that terrible night, the Adams family lost everything, but the most crucial thing is still there!
