Oksana Kobeletska was expecting her second child, and she and her husband Sergey already had a daughter. But throughout the pregnancy, Oksana had the impression that she was carrying more than one child.
It’s true that the doctor’s face lighted up when she and her husband arrived at the hospital for her sonogram, and nothing could have prepared the couple for what they would soon learn.
Oksana, age 37, gave birth to quintuplets in the Ukrainian city of Odessa instead of twins!
The thought of having to provide for five mouths surprised and nearly scared the couple.
They were obviously apprehensive because this meant that they would have to quickly alter their future plans.
In her 30th week of pregnancy, Oksana arrived at the hospital to have her children delivered by C-section. Eight physicians and members of the hospital staff were waiting for her, and they were all clearly thrilled because they had never seen a delivery like this before.
The couple welcomed their five children into the world after a smooth delivery. They gave their two daughters and three sons the following names: Denis, Dariya, Vladislav, Oleksandra, and David.
Quintuplets are not going to be simple to raise, especially if you weren’t ready for them, but the couple is doing fine so far. The elder sister of the quintuplets is also contributing and supporting them.
