The utmost happiness to be your mother: Gigi Hadid and ex Zayn Malik celebrate daughter Khai’s fourth birthday
On Thursday, Gigi Hadid and her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik both posted heartfelt birthday wishes for their daughter Khai.
The 29-year-old model shared a glimpse of Khai’s baby Yoda-themed party on Instagram after splitting from the 31-year-old One Direction frontman in 2021.
The happy mother, who is currently dating Maestro actor Bradley Cooper, 49, posted many photos from the vibrant celebration along with a heartfelt comment praising her «adventurous» and «loving» kid.We celebrated our daughter’s fourth birthday all week long! She enjoys being in the water from dawn to dusk, loves music, baby Yoda, all things nature and bugs, Descendants, and everything squishy or little. She also likes animals—even fanciful ones.
She is incredibly smart, inquisitive, daring, and loving. ❥️♡️ Being your mother brings me the utmost happiness and pleasure in life, Khai!
She went on, «Thank you for the four best years of my life; you constantly inspire me to live life to the fullest in the most understated yet exquisite ways.» My dearest darling, the possibilities are boundless for you! YODA BEST.
Neither Bradley, Gigi’s current boyfriend, nor Khai’s father were shown in the photos, so it’s unclear if they attended the celebration.
Zayn, though, gave his daughter a greeting on his own birthday. ‘Happy birthday to the most important person in my life,’ the musician wrote beside a photo of him carrying Khai at the beach.
I am incredibly happy to call you my daughter and love you more than words can say. I am also grateful for every moment I get to spend with you as you grow into the amazing person I already know you to be. Without you, my life would have drastically changed four years ago today, and I would not be the man I am today.
In the meantime, Gigi shared a photo of herself and Khai admiring the pink and green birthday cake that included Grogu, the endearing character from Disney+’s The Mandalorian who looks a lot like Yoda from the Star Wars universe.
On the cake, it said, «May the FOURce be with you.»
Gigi looked amazing in an off-duty model outfit that included a zigzag headband, flip flops, cammo pants, and a white tank top.
Khai, meanwhile, looked great in a pink cowboy boot, shorts, and white t-shirt.
Gigi happily posted pictures of the playful party décor. Numerous balloons were present, along with an enormous inflatable blue slide.
A booth for arts and crafts was also there. The youngsters were also treated to an abundance of sprinkle selections at the ice cream stand.
She also posted several more photos of her daughter having a great time over her birthday week, one of which was the two of them in a clear kayak.
Another picture featured Khai flaunting her chic red ribbon braid.
Along with sharing a video of Khai swinging, the pleased mother wrote, «4 years of YOU,» on her Stories. ‘Happy birthday, angel of mama!’
Additionally, Gigi sent Khai an invitation from Auradon Prep, a school featured in the Disney Descendants television series that is attended by the offspring of some of the company’s most well-known heroes and villains.
Khai received a lovely rainbow cake in addition to her classic baby Yoda cake.
Gigi uploaded a picture of it on her Instagram Stories with the caption, «Always bake 4 birthday breakfast.»
Gigi doesn’t seem to have learned from her mother’s parenting style. Reality queen Yolanda Hadid, 60, once told Gigi to just eat a silver piece of her birthday cake in a well-known footage from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in order to keep her model form.
In one of the pictures, Yolanda was seen guiding Khai’s pony’s reins.
Similar to her mother and model aunt Bella Hadid, 27, Khai exuded confidence while riding her horse of rainbow colors, giving the impression that she was a natural horsewoman.
Zayn and Gigi dated for about five years. In September 2020, their daughter was born.
They parted ways in October 2021 as a result of alleged conflict between Gigi’s mother and Zayn.
After he entered a plea of not guilty, Zayn was charged with four counts of harassment. In September 2021, he was accused of slamming Yolanda into a dresser and calling her a «f*****g Dutch sl*t.»
She has now moved on with Bradley, who is the father of 38-year-old model Irina Shayk’s daughter, who is seven years old. The two were initially connected in October 2023.
