Pictures of Colin Hayslett’s father that he recently shared on Twitter quickly went viral. The ladies went crazy after he posted pictures of his father’s first modeling photos, who is 45 years old.
Since the former preacher decided to pursue a career in modeling, Clint, according to Colin, has never been happier.
He claimed that his father was only waiting for the chance to become well-known, but neither Colin nor his father could have anticipated the response they got.
The post gained 377,000 likes and nearly 81,000 retweets in a matter of days.
Hundreds of messages praising Clint’s beauty and many more inquiring whether he was single flooded his inbox.
The former preacher received praise from several users for venturing out and making the leap to pursue a new job. They also commended Colin for encouraging and supporting his father.
By sharing images of their own fathers with words that resembled Colin’s, other users made the decision to mock the «Hot Model Dad.»
Clint, a pastor for the past 20 years, was unaware that his son had posted his photos on Twitter until it became viral.
«He [Clint] was kind of going crazy,» he told the New York Times. It was amusing. Colin acknowledges, «He uses his phone more today than before.
He now asks me for the tweet’s statistics when I get home. Social media is being gradually incorporated into his life.
Clint is astounded by the outpouring of support and humbled by the whole ordeal.
