Three-legged dog became a faithful companion of a girl who was born without one arm

Due to Amniotic Band Syndrome, Ella Peggy’s left arm was completely absent when she was born.

The girl’s damage has no effect on her ability to grow and develop normally, and Ella successfully makes up for her missing hand by using her head and legs.

Her mother Brooke Hodgson claims that the girl swiftly and easily adjusts to any challenges.

The moment Brooke saw a television story from an animal shelter featuring a three-legged Boston terrier/Staffordshire terrier mix named Snowy, she knew this dog may make the ideal companion for her daughter.

In a heartfelt letter, Brooke begged the Queensland Animal Welfare League to give her family the dog.

As Brooke Hodgson told reporters from Daily Mail Australia, «My heart pounded harder when I spotted Snowy. I knew he would be the perfect friend for Ella, and they are the same age, and caring for a dog will be a new stage for her maturing. She’ll realize that someone else is just like her.

Now this Queensland family with the husband, wife, two kids (Ella has an older brother), and a happy pet can be deemed ideal.

The girl found it difficult to adjust to the dog’s high level of activity at first, but now the two are best friends.

Snowy’s paw was medically amputated after an injury; he was not born with a disability.

— Ella frequently gives him embraces when they sit together. And I observed that every morning, Snowy runs to the other family members after first looking for Ella.
