To assist with renovations for a hoսsekeeper, Heidi kicks cabinets and climbs onto roofs
On Monday’s season six debut of Celebrity IOU on HGTV, Heidi Klum surprised her housekeeper of 17 years, Lucia, with a nearly finished home remodel.
She has always had my back, and now that I can have hers as well, Heidi added, «She’s always there for me.»
Lucia’s dark and dated home in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles was transformed by Heidi working with Property Brothers actors Jonathan and Drew Scott, aged 45.
Drew recalled that Heidi had stated that Lucia had served as the family’s pillar of support for as long as she could remember.
Heidi, 49, who was dressed in a jean jacket and jean shorts, remarked, «She’s been through all of my pregnancies and mayhem in my house.»
But in spite of that, Mom has always supported me through everything.
Heidi claimed that Lucia had assimilated into her family.
Heidi affirmed, «She really is someone in my house that I can’t live without.»
According to Heidi, Lucia is from Mexico and was able to save up enough money to purchase her own home.
Lucia addressed the camera and added, «Meeting Heidi was a blessing in our lives, our family.»
Lorena, the daughter of Lucia, stated that they also consider Heidi a member of their family.
The COVID-19 epidemic caused Lucia’s mother to get seriously ill, and she ultimately passed away, delaying Lucia’s plans to update the home. Heidi went on to clarify this.
Heidi informed the brothers that Lucia would be visiting her family for three to four weeks, giving them time to complete the task.
Prior to beginning, Drew demonstrated to Heidi the runway walk he had recently learnt from Cindy Crawford, 57, in an earlier episode, and Heidi gave him some advice.
They all decided the living room needed to be expanded up when Heidi showed them around Lucia’s home.
Heidi also mentioned that the house needs to be brightened up because it was so dark.
Jonathan stated, «Heidi wants to give Lucia the house of her dreams.»
To lighten the entire area, we will first take down the two walls that separate the kitchen and install light-colored engineered hardwood from front to back.
