Travis and Kylie have decided to rename their baby Ira. here’s how they made that decision
According to reports, Kylie Jenner, 25, and her ex-boyfriend Travis Scott, 31, are prepared to officially change their son’s name from Wolfe to Aire.
The former couple submitted paperwork to make the name change official, and all sides agreed that Wolfe Jacques Webster should now be known as Aire Webster.
The pair reportedly said they «regret the initial name choice of Wolf Jacques Webster,» according to the outlet’s article on Thursday, March 16.
After spending some time with their child, the petitioners feel the name Aire Webster is a better fit.
The cosmetics tycoon and troubled rapper revealed in January 2023 that they had decided on the name Aire for their infant kid.
Yet they didn’t drop Wolfe as his given name until almost a year had passed since their initial statement.
“ During that time, she stated via Instagram Stories, «FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore.
We just didn’t think it was him, to be honest. Because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere, I just wanted to share.
However in September 2022, six months later, she acknowledged that Wolfe was still «legally» his name.
During her appearance on The Late Late Show, she said to James Corden, «We haven’t actually legally changed the name.
«Wolf is still his name. Although Wolf appears on his passport, that won’t be his name. Just waiting right now.
Kris Jenner, Kylie’s mother, cracked a funny joke while sitting next to her during the interview: «So we’ve been calling him «Andy» for nothing?»
Kylie went on to explain why she was hesitant to announce his new name quite yet.
She told the talk show comic, «Travis likes to sometimes… one day, he’ll be like, ‘Ooh, this name’s kinda good,’ and change it again.
Hence, until… we’re not going to modify it formally. He’s 21,» Kris jokingly said.
Although appearing to agree on the name of their son, Travis and Kylie’s relationship has since terminated.
Kylie and Travis were scheduled to spend the holidays together, but instead she traveled to Aspen to be with her friends and family, a source told Us Weekly in January.
They have a history of being together and apart, yet they are always close friends and wonderful coparents.
