What happened to Justin Timberlake. He says it’s been a ‘tough week’

In what appeared to be a reaction to his DWI arrest earlier this week, Justin Timberlake spoke to fans during a concert in Chicago.

The 43-year-old singer of «Selfish,» who is presently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, spoke to the crowd briefly on Friday night during his performance at the United Center.

In a video from the event that fan accounts uploaded, Timberlake remarked, «We’ve been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights.»

«Though it has been a challenging week, nothing can change this moment right now because you and I are here.»

«You keep loving me, and I love you right back, even though I know that sometimes I’m difficult to love. I really appreciate it. After receiving applause and claps from the audience, Timberlake continued for a short while.

At his Chicago show on Friday, Justin Timberlake, who was last seen in November 2023, seemed to talk about his recent arrest for DWI.

After failing to «maintain his lane of travel» and stop at a stop sign, Timberlake was pulled over in his 2025 BMW.

The Sag Harbor Village Police Department stated that «it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated position» after conducting an investigation.

July 26 is Timberlake’s next court date.

It will be the former NSYNC boy band breakout star’s first tour announcement in five years. The tour was revealed in January.

The tour’s North American leg started in April at Vancouver, Canada’s Rogers Arena, and it stopped in cities across the United States, Canada, Europe, and the United Kingdom.

His sixth solo album, «Everything I Thought It Was,» with the lead single «Selfish,» was released in March. This album was Timberlake’s first release since the highly anticipated «Man of the Woods» in 2018.
