On Sunday, Katy Perry used social media to urge her fans to watch the most recent American Idol show on ABC.
The 38-year-old pop icon, who was recently accused of ‘bullying’ a competitor who was quite frightened,
appeared in three Instagram photos sporting a unique camouflage bustier and matching khaki pants.
The singer for Firework wore her black hair straight down and parted in the center; she also wore rose-colored spectacles, a necklace, and bracelets as accessories.
She made a photo credit for her makeup artist Michael Anthony and pointed at the camera in one of the photographs.
The final day of auditions is tonight, so I want you to watch #AmericanIdol, Katy captioned an Instagram post for her over 194 million followers.
Since American Idol’s relaunch on ABC in 2018, Katy has served as a judge alongside Lionel Richie, 73, and Luke Bryan, 46.
The last auditions for Hollywood Week were broadcast on Sunday when the judges choose the final singers for season 21 of American Idol, which debuted on February 19.
Singer Cam Amen, 27, who was raised in foster care in Anderson, Indiana, moved Katy, Lionel, and Luke with his rendition of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah during his audition.
After his performance, Cam earned a standing ovation from the judges and a hug from Lionel,
and Luke announced that Cam had won a Platinum Ticket, allowing him to skip the first round of Hollywood Week.
At Resorts World Las Vegas, Katy has been performing regularly since December 29, 2021, and her residency is set to end on August 12.
She talked about her performance on the most recent edition of American Idol, which was the night before the final auditions.
Katy began dating actor Orlando Bloom, 46, in 2016, and on February 14, 2019, they announced their engagement.
