With the help of some creative veterinarians and a few plastic buttons, a 7-month-old kitten was saved
An attack by a dog left a 7-month-old ginger cat with significant injuries that was brought to the vet.

However, the doctors were able to preserve his life by performing the procedure using some unusual methods.
The adjustments required for restoration are the buttons on an animal’s face.
The ginger cat was assaulted by the owner’s dog, which is how he ended up on January 20 at the Angell Animal Veterinary Clinic with a head injury,

several jaw fractures, lacerations, and damage to his palate.
Four buttons—two on the cheekbones and two more under the chin—were chosen by the surgeons to hold the stitches in place following surgical adjustments.

Additionally, the colored buttons support the animal’s surgically repaired jaw and keep it from tearing the healing sutures.
The buttons can be taken off when the scars have healed, which is anticipated to take 4-6 weeks.

After making a full recovery, the cat, who went by the name Juicebox, is now looking for a new home without dogs.
Despite suffering from extremely critical wounds, Juicebox is recovering swiftly and is very sociable and playful, according to Victoria Odynski, a worker at the Boston Animal Welfare Center.
