YouTuber Valkyrae accuses Jason Momoa of’mistreating’ the staff shooting a Minecraft movie
According to one of his co-stars in the upcoming movie A Minecraft Movie, Jason Momoa allegedly shouted at and insulted the crew on the set.
In a section reminiscent of Hot Ones, YouTuber Valkyrae, 32, took the stage opposite fellow YouTuber JasonTheWeen on Friday. During her appearance, she was questioned about her worst celebrity encounter.
«Well, Minecraft movie-I have a cameo in the Minecraft movie that’s coming out-I would have to say Jason Momoa,» retorted Valkyrae, whose true name is Rachell Marie Hofstetter.During the film’s filming, Valkyrae reported that she witnessed the 45-year-old actor, who portrays Garett «The Garbage Man» Garrison, «mistreat some of the crew.»
«It was rather disheartening,» expressed Valkyrae. «I don’t know if he was still in character, but it was after a really intense and emotional scene.» Just the way he handled some of the crew astonished me.Momoa, according to Valkyrae, «was just angry, really mad, and yelling,» while the lead actor for Aquaman «was just really mad at them that they weren’t doing something right in setting up the shot and stuff.»
The Honolulu-born star’s behavior, according to Valkyrae, made the workplace poisonous.
«This is not a good work environment, man. I wouldn’t be happy working here,» Valkyrae exclaimed. «I have to admit, that was the worst celebrity sighting I have ever witnessed.»
In their responses to the episode, a number of Twitter users seemed to be giving Momoa the benefit of the doubt.

The commenter said, «They definitely not calling her back to a set after this. She’s barely in the movie industry and she’s already talking drama with one of the biggest stars.»
Another claimed that Valkyrae did not realize the pressure Momoa was under as the star of the highly publicized movie, given her experience as a streaming celebrity.
The user said, «I mean honestly, Valkyrae wouldn’t understand as she sits on a chair all day streaming, but Jason has a stressful job.»
