After Lily’s accusation, Allen furiously claims James Corden was a ‘beggar friend’
After accusing Lily Allen of leading James Corden on when she «definitely wasn’t,» Lily Allen viciously declared that Corden was a «beg friend.»
The singer of Smile claimed that the Gavin and Stacey star approached her at their 2008 talk show and that he was «very flirtatious» with her.
The 39-year-old claimed that they had a brief, «hazy» time hanging out thereafter, but Corden mistook her for someone else and claimed in his book that she had led him on.
Miss Me?, her podcast, features Yes, James Corden was somewhat of a beg friend for me, Allen admitted.
James Corden was really flirtatious with me when he appeared on my chat show, and we ended up becoming friends. I then introduced him to others of my friends.
And the entire time period was a little blurry, so I don’t really remember it.

In order to promote the new Gavin and Stacey series, Corden made an appearance on the show.
‘I think he wrote about it in his book that, you know, that I was like leading him on or something, which I absolutely wasn’t,’ said the mother of two.

However, I would say that James Corden was my famous beggy pal in the past.
Following several years of hosting The Late Late Show in America, Corden, now 45, recently returned to the UK.

Lily said in 2017 that she was unable to «shut him down» at the time since doing so would have made her appear «cold» or «snobbish.»
‘No, I wasn’t horny for James Cordon either,’ she tweeted in response to someone who said she was ‘horny for James Corden’ and included a link to the program he featured on.
