Amidst the controversy surrounding the sale of her and ex-husband Ben Affleck’s $68 million former marital residence, Jennifer Lopez was spotted.
The 55-year-old On The Floor hitmaker showed off her toned abs on Tuesday as she got out of a chauffeured car in Los Angeles, sporting a gray long-sleeve crop top.
Lopez accessorized her top with flared blue jeans and platform shoes at her meeting with well-known divorce lawyer Laura Wasser this week.
Her brunette hair was pulled back into a disheveled bun, and she covered her makeup with gold-framed aviator sunglasses.
The Selena singer appeared at ease as she spoke with her crew outside of a nearby building.
Wearing a ‘Jennifer’ ring on her wedding finger and large hoops earrings, among other gold jewelry, she looked stunning.
The observation occurs only hours after TMZ revealed that Lopez and Affleck’s attempt to sell their $68 million house had encountered a significant obstacle.
According to the source, the stars received and accepted a $64 million bid from a New Jersey couple before purchasing the house in May 2023 for $60.8 million.
The home’s sale is currently in jeopardy, though, since the unidentified purchasers «pulled out of escrow» due to a death in their family.A property falling out of escrow indicates that the sale of the property or some other part of the transaction did not go as planned.
The property will then be relisted for sale and no longer be subject to a contract.
The purchasers were reported to have fallen ‘in love’ with their 38,000-square-foot property, which the ex-couple had put up for an astounding $68 million in July on Zillow.
The informant stated that the New Jersey couple is «still interested in the property» even though they backed out of an escrow.
The estate was purchased with cash by Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, who «spent several million on renovations.»
According to TMZ, the two-time Oscar winner and celebrity also had to pay a «hefty fee to the realtors» in addition to a 5.25 percent mansion tax.
Importantly, the exes’ $550 million estate would likely be divided significantly by the planned sale of the house. The couple notoriously got married in 2022 without a prenuptial agreement.
Lopez’s holdings account about $400million of their wealth treasure trove. According to reports, Affleck is valued at $150 million.
A 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom main house, a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a two-bedroom guardhouse, a caretaker house, and a 12-car garage are all part of the property known as Crestview Manor.
A bar, a home gym, a sports lounge, a boxing ring, basketball and pickleball courts, and parking for eighty cars are among the amenities.
The former couple was not in agreement when they bought the property, a source told PEOPLE earlier this month.
‘The $68 million mansion was Ben’s idea and a significant concession for her,’ a source told the site.
«She accepted it because of its roomy design, which accommodates both of their families, a gym and a pickleball court, office space, and it has two private entrances,» the insider continued. She pointed out that the arrangement was perfect for Ben’s kids, Violet, 18, Finn, 15, and Samuel, 12, as well as JLo’s twins, Max and Emme, 16, who are in their 16s.
The source for the magazine claimed that the singer Jenny From The Block didn’t particularly match the ultra-modern design of the property.
