Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis put on a romantic show while having dinner with friends in Beverly Hills. The happy pair, who first connected as costars on Fox’s That ’70s Show, were spotted holding hands outside Matu Steakhouse on Friday night.

For their casual date, the 41-year-old Black Swan actress and the duo were decked up in a gray hoodie, trousers, and white sneakers. In the meantime, the 46-year-old actor from Two and a Half Men donned a white t-shirt, trousers, and a white Chicago Bears ball cap over a light gray, short-sleeved shirt that was left unbuttoned.

The outing occurs later that same day that the trailer for Mila’s next film, Goodrich, starring 72-year-old Michael Keaton, was unveiled.

Andy and Grace Goodrich, an estranged father and daughter, are portrayed in the film by Kunis and Keaton.

His wife’s decision to check herself into a 90-day recovery facility and put him in charge of their nine-year-old twins throws his life into chaos. He asks for assistance from his pregnant adult child from his first marriage, Grace.

In the teaser, Grace tells her brothers, «I am 27 years older than you, which is basically unheard of for siblings… except maybe in LA.»

Andie MacDowell, Michael Urie, Carmen Ejogo, Laura Benanti, Kevin Pollak, Viven Lyra Blair, Nico Haraga, and Danny Deferrari are among the other actors who feature in the movie. On October 18, the movie opens in theaters.

The couple’s public appearance follows Ashton’s criticism for claiming AI will «be able to render a whole movie,» which prompted many to defend the motion picture industry.

During a recent conversation with former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Variety reports that Ashton raised the possibility of producing entire films with OpenAI’s newest generative video tool, Sora.

The actor said, «You’ll be able to render a whole movie.» «All you have to do is brainstorm a movie idea, and it will write the screenplay. Once you enter the script into the video generator, the movie will be created.»

«I can just generate and then watch my own movie,» he continued, rather than viewing a film that someone else had created. Kutcher continued, «If you could just create the establishing shot for $100, why would you go out and shoot an establishing shot of a house in a television show?» It would cost you hundreds of dollars to go shoot it.

«You don’t need a stunt person to go do action scenes of me jumping off this building—you could just go do it [with AI].»

He continued by explaining how a prompt featuring a marathon runner in a sandstorm, which would normally need a significant amount of computer graphics, could be created quickly.

The Hollywood diva came under heavy fire from critics when she implied that a machine could handle the magic of making movies.

«Imagine being Ashton Kutcher walking onto a movie set right now, having just come out and saying that all those crew members should lose their jobs and f***ing starve,» one critic remarked. «Wise decision, buddy.»

A few admirers even made fun of the actor’s reel, which has roles in movies like The Butterfly Effect, Just Married, and No Strings Attached. One follower said, «With OpenAI’s Sora, you could probably make an Ashton Kutcher movie, but you couldn’t make a good movie.»

Months after pleading guilty for standing by their That ’70s Show co-star during his trial, Kutcher and Kunis faced criticism in May when they were seen having a fun night out with the brother of convicted rapist Danny Masterson.

The pair faced intense criticism in September after it was made public that they had written letters to the judge pleading for Danny, 48, to be given a lighter sentence.

They later expressed regret for the «pain they had caused» and demanded that they «support victims» in a brief video that they both uploaded to social media.
