Bebe Rexha, who is crying, says she was «threatened» at Munich Airport for using Albanian in a tearful video

Bebe Rexha claims in an emotional new video that she posted to her Instagram Story on Saturday that she was «threatened» by a security guard for speaking Albanian.

The 34-year-old singer revealed to her 11.9k fans, through video, why she was crying: she had been allegedly barred from her Lufthansa flight from Munich Airport.

I was intimidated because I mistook the security guard for an Albanian. She said, «I asked him where to get my ticket in Albanian, and now he’s banning me from the flight.» Rexha caught herself sobbing as mascara poured down her face in a second video that she made after the event, and then she went into detail about what had transpired.

She stated in a statement, «I think this is a hate crime because I am Albanian.» He refused to give me his name. He persisted in torturing my mind in order to give me the impression that he was stronger than he actually was.

«Not a single woman at @Lufthansa stepped in or said anything,» she went on. He refused to tell me his name. However, I have learned that he is employed by ATSG, a document control service provider that Lufthansa hired.

The singer should be taken «home safe» from Munich Airport, and Rexha went on to repost a request from another Instagram user to «investigate the male officer who threatened a woman» for speaking Albanian.

The artist, who is from North Macedonia and Albania, was born in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island, which is close by, when she was six years old. When North Macedonia was still a part of Yugoslavia, her father Flamur was born there. At the age of 21, he immigrated to the United States.

Her mother was born in the US and has Albanian ancestry as well. The Albanian word for «bee» is Bleta, Rexha’s legal first name. She has previously disclosed that from a young age, her parents started referring to her as «Bebe.»

Just one month ago, the four-time Grammy nominee expressed her dissatisfaction with the music industry through a series of passionate tweets. Declaring her dissatisfaction, the celebrity added that she ‘could bring down a BIG piece of this industry’ with her information, which she withheld.

«I’ve been DECEIVED.» I haven’t said anything in a very long time. She stated in a post shared with X, «I haven’t seen the signs even though people are constantly bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS.»

«And when I have spoken up, I have been silenced and PUNISHED by this industry,» she went on. Either things have to change, or I’m speaking the whole truth. The beautiful, the ugly, and the evil.

Reentering the platform, the singer clarified that her remark was ‘not only coming from a place of anger.’ She gained notoriety in 2013 after contributing to the songwriting of Eminem’s hit single The Monster.

It is depressing. «I’m crying uncontrollably while sitting in my London hotel room,» she wrote. I’ve been devoid of hope for a very long time. I’ve been seeing fans and strolling about this city a lot, and they’ve really sparked something inside of me.

Rexha retorted, «Again?» to a fan who inquired, «What happened again?» beneath the post. Not even five percent have you heard. You’re clueless.

The musician responded to a question about who stopped her from speaking up by writing, «THEY PUNISH YOU.» Rexha responded, «IM FED UP,» to an X user who implied that she was going on a tirade to get attention for her new song, I’m the Drama.

Rexha has composed music for a variety of artists, including Mickey Guyton, Florida Georgia Line, Iggy Azalea, Nick Jonas, Tate McRae, and Selena Gomez.
