Emma Stone wears a plunging yellow dress that leaves little to the imagination
Emma Stone put on a steamy display in a flesh-baring yellow dress as she led the stars at the New York City premiere of her highly anticipated new film Poor Things on Wednesday night.
The 35-year-old Academy Award winner was attired in a chic yellow Louis Vuitton dress covered with striking cutouts.
Showing her support for the star was her friend Taylor Swift, 33, who looked effortlessly elegant in all black.
The women were joined by the all-star cast of the film, including Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe, while other A-listers including Laura Dern and Margaret Qualley joined the celebrations.
The film, which reunites Stone with The Favourite’s director Yorgos Lanthimos, is a fantastical black comedy in which the actress plays
a young child whose brain has been implanted in the body of a grown woman by a disfigured scientist (played by Dafoe).
She struggles to understand her new body while exploring a fantastical Oz-like world.
Emma’s Louis Vuitton dress featured a loose weave of yellow fabric with a jagged, plunging neckline.
The dress was decorated with striking silver spangles and pearls, and it included irregular cutouts all along its length that looked as if they had been roughly snipped out.
She elevated her stature with metallic open-toe heels and wore a black velvet choker around her neck that was decorated with a gorgeous jeweled flower.
The La La Land actress highlighted her gorgeous skin by tying back her red hair.
Making a surprising appearance at the premiere was Taylor Swift, who had on a figure-hugging black dress.
She covered it with a furry black coat and draped her voluminous blond curls over her shoulders.
In addition to being friends with Emma, Taylor also has a tangential connection of sorts to director Yorgos Lanthimos, as her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn played a disappointed suitor to Emma’s character in The Favourite.
