Jennifer Lopez flaunts her amazing abs, but has she had her tattoo of Ben Affleck’s «commitment» taken out in the wake of her divorce?
When Jennifer Lopez landed in Los Angeles on Monday, she looked stunning and flaunted her washboard abs.
As she disembarked, the 55-year-old singer and actress looked great in a sporty outfit that emphasized her slender figure.
After traveling up north to the Toronto International Film Festival for her new film Unstoppable’s premiere over the weekend, she was returning to Los Angeles.Lopez and one of the movie’s producers, Matt Damon, were present at the awkward event. The actress and her estranged husband, Ben Affleck, had a private talk.
Jennifer’s provocative clothing on the TIFF red carpet left admirers wondering if she had gotten a «commitment» tattoo erased, even if her costume on Monday seemed to cover up the sides of her torso. This was after she and Ben got matching tattoos.
The Out Of Sight actress wore a low-cut white cropped tank top with spaghetti straps that accentuated her slim waist and age-defying flat tummy as part of her trip costume.
She donned a pale gray sweatshirt with the sleeves flowing down her front, which gave the ensemble a slightly more modest appearance. Wearing a matching pair of light gray low-rise sweatpants, Jennifer looked on point.
She wore off-white sneakers instead of athletic shoes to complete her understated ensemble, and her caramel-colored hair was simply pulled back into a sloppy bun.
J. Lo seemed to be wearing less makeup than usual, and she wore large black sunglasses to block off the sunshine. Her aides escorted her to a black SUV and drove off once she got off the private jet.
The ‘commitment’ tattoo on Jennifer, which she got early last year during the height of her romance with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, should have been visible due to her skimpy tank top.
She normally wears garments to cover the ink, which was placed high up on her left rib cage.
An arrow passing through the two loops of the pattern resembled an infinity symbol, according to a picture Jennifer shared on Instagram. It went well with Ben’s tattoo, which she also shared.
Two crisscrossing arrows that seemed to be joined together at the intersection were depicted in his ink. To represent their marital and romantic relationship, her initial, «J,» was inked above the crossing point and Ben’s surname was drawn below it.
But Jennifer didn’t seem to be able to see the tattoo as she posed for a picture at the Toronto International Film Festival wearing a gorgeous outfit that was adorned in shimmering mirrors on the front and back. The front and back sheets of mirrors on the garment were seperate, and they were knotted together with strong bows over her sides, leaving less room for creativity.
However, there was no visible indication of the eternity symbol on J.Lo’s bare ribcage. It’s unclear whether she had begun the process of having the tattoo erased already, or if she had temporarily covered up the ink with cosmetics.
Jennifer was seen having a private talk with Matt Damon, one of Unstoppable’s producers, during TIFF. During some downtime, they were spotted sitting and holding hands.
The film was co-produced by Matt and his close buddy Ben, but the Gone Girl actor chose to stay in Los Angeles with his kids instead of attending the Toronto premiere.
Although pictures from the event seemed to show J. Lo and Matt sharing a tender moment, an insider told DailyMail.com that the Ocean’s Eleven star’shut down any attempt’ that Jennifer made to bring up her divorced spouse Ben.
«She would have known that bringing Matt aside at the event for a private conversation was going to get picked up and go viral,» they continued. «That’s why her timing was so awkward.»
After some fans mistook Matt’s bowed head for a joint prayer, the insider emphasized that Matt would «always have Ben’s back no matter what» and made it clear that he was not praying with Jennifer.
In her sultry «revenge dress,» Jennifer made an appearance at the premiere alongside Matt, marking her first red carpet appearance since filing for divorce. ‘Irreconcilable differences’ was the reason given by her when she filed the petition last month.
Ben didn’t appear to file, even though she was the one who did, but he was apparently fully aware of her plans.
An insider claims that before she filed for divorce, the estranged couple had decided on the terms of the split, and neither party intended to surprise the other.
The pair had previously broken up behind closed doors, but chose to pretend to be a happy couple for months by going on sporadic public dates. This decision was mainly supported by the reporting.
Though it’s unclear if the two had a prenuptial agreement in place—which wouldn’t have been mentioned in the divorce filing—it seems likely that their Beverly Hills mansion—which they have put up for sale while Jennifer looks for a new place to live—will be the main source of contention for the two independently wealthy individuals.
Ben has already relocated to a more modest residence in Brentwood, near the residence of his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, which will facilitate the transportation of their kids back and forth.
