Following a year of dating, Jodie and Alexandra tied the knot in April 2014.In April, the actress honored Alexandra with a heartfelt homage at her hand-and-foot ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Jodie brought up the fact that, according to NBC LA footage, the ceremony was taking place on the tenth anniversary of her and Alexandra’s marriage throughout her address.
«My wife Alex is the one I really have to thank the most for being so generous to give up our 10-year anniversary day to come and do this with me,» Jodie joked. «Like, what are you thinking?» Why did we not refuse?
‘I love you so much and I’m so glad for the life we have together,’ Jodie said, her tone more serious as Alexandra brushed a tear from her eyes.
ABC televised the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, which celebrated the finest in television at the Peacock Theater.
Eugene and Dan Levy, the first father-son team to emcee a program, made history by hosting the ceremony. The performers won their own Emmy Awards in 2020 for their work on the popular television show Schitt’s Creek, which they co-created and starred in for six seasons.

«The idea of being asked to host this year in an actual theater was incentive enough for two Canadians who won our Emmys in a literal quarantine tent,» they wrote in a statement to Vanity Fair last month, confirming their hosting role.
«We’re thrilled to be able to raise a glass to this extraordinary season of television,» the couple said, adding that they were looking forward to spending the evening with everyone.
