Lara Flynn Boyle, 54, made an unusual statement regarding Jack Nicholson’s 87-year-old ex
In a recent interview, Twin Peaks actress Lara Flynn shared a rare insight into her previous romance with Jack Nicholson, calling him a «huge part of» her life.
The 54-year-old actress gushed that she saw their partnership as «seven years of great times» as she thought back on their intermittent connection.
The Davenport native, who wed Texas real estate investor Donald Ray Thomas back in 2006, continued, «It’s seven years of wonderful.»
Boyle told People that she doesn’t hang out with the 87-year-old three-time Oscar winner anymore, but they still communicate.
Regarding her ex-boyfriend’s current status, the Emmy nominee revealed that Nicholson was ‘doing magic’ outside.
«Jack’s world is here, always.» For the world of Jack, retirement is not an option. Never,’ she declared, even though Nicholson hadn’t been in a movie since How Do You Know in 2010.

In 1991, Boyle and Nicholson were connected romantically.
Following several splits and reconciliations, they finally called it quits in 2006, shortly before she married her present partner.
Flynn also used the occasion to refute rumors that she was out with her ex-boyfriend David Spade when she met Nicholson.
The former cast member of Saturday Night Live said in 2015 that «while we were all smoking a doob somewhere, Nickelson asked Lara Flynn Boyle out.»
Remembering this, he told Details that Boyle ‘grew upset’ with him for not telling Nicholson to stop.
Afterward, Spade asserted that he has lived «long enough in this town to know when» he is «outranked.»
Spade stated that after informing Boyle that she was «either gonna go out with him or» not, she replied, «No way.» He is not better than Trump!

Thirty years later, Boyle firmly denied the story, insisting it ‘never happened.’
«I believe some people like to exaggerate things for media attention,» she remarked.
Boyle claimed that she never dated another movie star after her time with Nicholson.
«When it came to actors, I left with a bang,» she pondered.
The actress, who lives in Texas and Los Angeles, will celebrate her and her husband’s 18 years of marriage in December.
She attributed the longevity of her marriage to «honesty, maturity, experience, and respect» in her remarks.

«Much of it is maturing,» she remarked. A lot of it is waiting for you to be ready, and I’ve been extremely lucky to receive so many wonderful calls from gentlemen.
I’ve had an amazing time and have met amazing men who I can spend time with, learn from, and develop a relationship with. It came at the perfect moment.
