Lola, Kelly Ripa’s 23-year-old daughter, raids her clothes with ease.
The 53-year-old talk show hostess disclosed this week that Lola attended the August Disney Legends induction ceremony wearing a garment she owned thirty years prior.
Kelly previously posted highlights from the memorable evening celebrating her career on Instagram, along with a video of her only child wearing the maroon halter-top dress.»That dress that Lola was wearing is thirty years old,» she stated during Tuesday’s Live with Kelly and Mark segment.
«It was my outfit from thirty years ago,» the delighted mother exclaimed. Thus, I found that to be rather awesome.
«See? «, she jokingly said to her spouse. Cost per wear!»
The mother-of-three did not say when she had worn the gown most recently, but it had been in her wardrobe for thirty years. Lola seemed to be paying homage to her well-known mother by donning the antique clothing.
Lola resembled a brunette Kelly in the pictures from the August wedding, wearing a ponytail and nude heels with her vintage dress.
Regarding the recipient, Kelly dazzled cameras in a stylish polka-dot gown prior to walking across the platform to get her Disney Legend designation.
Kelly’s 53-year-old husband Mark Consuelos, who looked great in a blue suit, was also in favor of her.
The family was present at the August 12 event at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, California.
The Disney Legend designation is presented to a person who has made a major impact on the company and the industry. Miley Cyrus and Harrison Ford have both received this honor.
Michael, 27, and Joaquin, 21, the sons of Kelly and Mark, were absent from the momentous evening.
The pair first connected as co-stars on the television series All My Children in 1995, when they played married characters opposite one another.
She added, «When I saw him, the photograph of him, I saw my entire future with him flash before [my eyes] — like I saw it,» recalling the first time she met him.
A year after meeting, in 1996, the couple went on a Vegas elopement. It was said to have only cost the couple $179.
However, the ‘I do’ trip was kept secret. Kelly claimed that she concealed her relationship with Mark from her coworkers out of concern that it might affect output.
‘We’d been married for three months, and no one at [All My Children] knew we were even dating, much less wedded to one other,’ she said to Entertainment Tonight.
In 1997, the couple began their family, which kept them occupied when the cameras were not rolling.
