Natalie Portman exclaims over her guest part in «Bluey» and refers to it as her «most important» performance
There are no little roles for Natalie Portman.
During a Monday visit on «Today,» the Oscar-winning actress talked about her guest part on the children’s cartoon series «Bluey.» In the third season of the 2021–2022 Critics Choice–nominated program, Portman made a brief appearance.
As Hoda Kotb reviewed the actress’s lengthy acting resume, she told Portman she was «surprised» to see the voiceover performance.
«It’s the most crucial one,» Portman said. «They were watching a nature documentary, and I was the narrator.»
Puppies Bluey and Bingo watch a television program on whales in their living room, which is narrated by Portman in the episode named «Whale Watching.»

«Bluey,» a 2018 animated feature by Australian Joe Brumm, is about the daily adventures of Blue Heeler puppy Bluey and her adorably cute dog family.

About the series, Portman remarked, «It’s just pure joy» and that it’s «something we need.»
