Reese Witherspoon and Oliver Haarmann appeared to be intensifying their new romance as they held hands on a date night in New York City on Wednesday.
The 48-year-old actress, who parted ways with her second husband Jim Toth last year, looked gorgeous in an LBD and made her first physical move toward the 56-year-old German banker by holding his hand as they made their way to a cab.
The diva, wearing strappy sandals with her black dress and flowery top, flaunted her toned figure. She wore her straight blonde hair and a gorgeous makeup palette for the occasion.
As they went side by side on their date, the newlyweds appeared closer than before. Reese was spotted out on several dates with Haarmann in July, as DailyMail.com exclusively reported. Haarmann’s ex-wife, businesswoman Mala Gaonkar, 54, is currently seeing singer David Byrne, 72.
How serious their connection is is unknown. Reese’s agent was approached by DailyMail.com for comment.Haarmann is one of the founding partners of the private equity investment company Searchlight Capital Partners.
Prior to this, he worked as a senior partner at the international investment firm KKR & Co. He and Gaonkar have two sons together.
He graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA in 1996 after receiving a bachelor’s degree in history and international relations from Brown University in 1990.
