While nude, Gisele Bundchen offers her top five recommendations for leading a healthy lifestyle
Ever wondered how supermodel and busy mother Gisele Bundchen looks so serene and peaceful, even following her rollercoaster year?
The Brazilian beauty, 43, has shared her five stress management tips — which include the tried and true methods of exercise, meditation, and time in nature.
‘Managing stress is part of life and while we can’t always control our circumstances, we can choose how we respond to them and try to find healthy ways to deal with it,’ the ex-wife of Tom Brady revealed this week.
Most importantly, Gisele — who is rumored to be romancing her hunky Jiu-Jitsu pro Joaquim Valente — believes that physical activity for a rush of endorphins is key to finding a more relaxed state of being.
‘Do a physical activity: it doesn’t need to be weights at the gym. Find something that you enjoy, dance, yoga, run, play a sport.
The important thing is getting your body moving so you can benefit from the release of endorphins,’ she explains.
Gisele then suggests spending time in nature for a dose of relaxation.
‘Walk in nature: Spending just 20 minutes a day connecting with nature can help lower stress and balance hormone levels.’
Her third tip is to meditate or do ‘conscious breathing.’
‘Meditation / Conscious breathing: Find a comfortable spot in a quiet place, focus on on your breath, allow your mind and body to calm down,’ she explained.
Gisele — who has been a wellness ambassador for Gaia Herbs since September — also gave a shout out to the brand in her fourth tip on her Instagram page:
‘Use herbal supplements: gaiaherbs Ashwagandha, for example, can help improve the body’s resilience to mental and physical stress.’
She also advises to consume a balanced diet and avoid eating ‘sugary, processed’ foods.’
‘Eat a balanced diet : Do your best to avoid sugary, processed foods and try to eat more whole food that nourish your body,’ she wrote, before ending the message with the ‘ad’ hashtag.
